Rekindle is a warm, private, trauma‑informed digital platform designed to help alienated and estranged families gently reconnect. It provides a safe space for grandparents, parents, children, and extended family members to share memories, write diaries, find support,
and — when ready — search for one another.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create a gentle, emotionally intelligent digital space where families can heal, reconnect, and rediscover one another — safely, privately, and with dignity.
Our vision is a world where no child grows up believing they were forgotten, and no loving family member is left without a pathway back to connection.
A gap in support systems
Grandparents lose contact with grandchildren. Parents become estranged through conflict, coercive control, or legal processes. Children grow up with unanswered questions and missing pieces of their identity.
Current systems offer:
· No safe digital space for long‑term reconnection.
· No memory‑preservation tools for those seperated from loved ones.
· No child‑centred platform for reconnecting when they reach an age of choice.
· No structured digital environment for monitored reconnection (e.g., Cafcass).
Rekindle aims to fill this gap with a warm, private, emotionally safe platform built specifically for these journeys.
